Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs informs that Russian major Yevgeniy Borisov is behind the explosions in Georgia
.
As Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Eka Zghuladze stated during the press conference, the group of criminals received orders from Borisov. He ordered and financed the purchase of the explosives.
Eka Zghuladze alleges that they have evidences. Russia’s Defense Ministry has a telephone number Major Borisov used to contact the group.
Zghuladze informs that the fact that 13 explosive devices were found indicates that more explosions were plotted.
Major Borisov served in the peacekeeping forces deployed in Abkhazia.
Deputy Minister informs that the arrested plead guilty.
On 4 December MIA detained 6-member group accused in explosions that took place in September-November, two persons are wanted.
